Case in point:
In the Fundamentals Forum, Playing Loud thread which I started, it has developed into the subject of Carmine Caruso methods.
I took a random check of other forums and have seen an overlap of ideas between forum subjects.
Has any past consideration been given or is there presently a system of transferring threads of one forum to another for the sole intent of subject support? Otherwise, IMO, the ideas expressed eventually become weakened if left to stand alone.
Just my 2 shekels worth after local taxes, customs, VAT and importexport duty.

Nope, Liad, we are powerless over which direction a topic will eventually go.
One topic started out as trumpet-related-something-or-other and turned into a college football team discussion.
You're lucky to get one or two posts on-topic and after that . . . well, don't expect much.
There's an old saying: "Blessed is he who expects nothing, for he is rarely disappointed."
I could email you a routine that will help you play louder without damaging any other aspect of your playing. (It may even improve other aspects of your playing.) I have it saved in a Microsoft Word file, and you could print it out and be able to read it (a scan of a page of music).

I would be very happy if you could "re-route" one of those Word files over to me.
Thanks much,
Liad:-)) |

Alright David, you got me on that one.
Now, how do you make the tongue stick out and how to you make them laugh?
Just so that we keep this thread on track, I would like to say to the Admin, that I have seen other forums which DO RE-ROUTE messages to specific in-house "forums"; so, this is not something new.
A decision is made by the Admin on where to split the thread, that is where is begins to change subject, and at that point a notice is written in the message (thread) as to where the rest of the thread is located. You Admin people could even provide a link at this point so that one doesn't have to start a waste-your time-search as to where that thread is.
I'm waiting for my prize for this suggestion...a few different funny smiles would be fine.
