I know this is a bad situation, but I really hope that Wynton's performance will spur more kids to pick trumpet, or at least get interested in dixieland/jazz (to balance out Bill Clinton's sax craze!).

However, I think that Faith Hill's first song was the most powerful aspect of the evening, and perhaps one of the most beautiful things I've ever heard.

I missed the live benefit on TV...

Please let me know if you hear of it being re-run any time soon.

Thanks,
Seiji

I know I say this with every "You missed out on this!" post, but can somebody please tell us about these things beforehand? Some of us don't have the time or patience to scour TV listings for such programs, and many of us don't care all that much for network television, and won;t watch it unless there's something we want to see on it specifically.

It was supposed to be broadcast here(at least that's what the tv guide said)but it never came on.

Wynton did sounded amazing. Him and and Harry should tour together, that would be pretty special I think.
