Ok,

I have an old horn that I want to retire to a display case because it has some family history....

anyone know where i can order a display case to make it stand on the bottom of the valves and hang on the wall behind glass?

I want it to look like this on the wall - but do not want to dust it...

I can't say I know where to order a display case like that, but that's some impressive ASCII you have going there

you might want to check out these guys.

http://www.gemodisplays.com/

they have quite variety of cases for collectibles. one of their single item display cases, all glass, the right dimensions for a trumpet, sells for around $115.

another option for you would be a lamp. i had a guy at a local shop make one for me for around $50, shade extra. it features a padded post on the base so you can stand the horn upright without damaging the instrument. mine is all black, with a black shade, which looks great in contrast with the brass horn.

I've been playing around with a similar idea: I want a multi-trumpet display case similar to what people use to display gun collections. Each trumpet would have it's own K&M stand behind the locked glass door.
