I see PH is now moderating this forum. I was just curious what happened to BB and if everything was OK. _________________ Joe |

Hmmmm -- when you do a "list all posts," I don't see anything from Charly since May. I dropped him an e-mail.

Charly has stopped visiting the forum since May. He had a difference of opinion with some of the folks here. I had hoped he would reconsider. However, a few weeks ago it became obvious he was gone, seemingly for good. I volunteered to take over moderation of the forum.
I still wish Charly would come back and rejoin the fun!

That is extremely unfortunate. I will miss him. He was never one to back down from a debate and he always articulated his side very professionally. I don't know him personally, but consider him a mentor. I gained much insight into playing the trumpet because of him and this forum.
Thank you, Pat for continuing on here. You have added much and I would feel the same about you if you ever left. _________________ Joe |

His website looks like it was abandoned about the same time he left here.
Did you get a reply to your email, urbie? _________________ Joe |

Yup -- no worries, Charly hasn't disappeared. Sounds like he's been busy lately, though -- that may account for the lack of recent updates to his site.

To all,
I have answered several e-mails about my absence of late from the TH. For any others who may be interested ……..
My departure from the TH was due to an operational issue in which I found myself in direct opposition to another Moderator who had the support of the System Administrator and for which there was no resolution for me except to leave. Everyone has to make their own choices.
Regarding the Caruso Forum, it actually hasn’t had a listed moderator since the ‘hack’ occurred, but is officially in good hands at the present with PH. If anyone wants my take on Caruso issues which are occasionally different from Pat’s (or any others for that matter) you will have to PM or preferably e-mail me.
Unlike many who have harrumphed off the TH in the past, with a lot of yammering and sputtering about one thing or another, accompanied by a flurry of erased posts (and in one case a whole dedicated forum) only to return later as if nothing had happened, I simply left. None of my posts have been erased but, unlike many before me, it is not likely that I will actively return. I do drop in occasionally to see what’s going on and notice a lot of the same old bogus stuff being posted about air speed, the tongue, breathing, garden hoses, mirrors, corners, mpcs, pencils, resonance, sound, etc., etc., but it is now for others to challenge and debunk, e.g., read DJ.
I wish (almost) everyone well.

Charles,
Keep well and hope you're playing better than ever.
You're not missing a lot.
