Unfortunately, Rosa Parks, a great hero of the 20th century has died. As we all probably know, Parks was the woman who refused to relinquish her seat to a white bus rider, setting in motion the Montgomery bus boycotts in '55. Thus she was very much a catalyst of the civil rights movement.

She was truly a national treasure.
