I would like an affordable way to get from cassette and vinyl to CD. My computer has a CD burner, so I would appreciate any advice on what's available in H/W and S/W to make it happen. Thanks. _________________ Ed Taylor . . . a Messianic gentile |

Good suggestions Dave. Actually there are lots of hard ware available for doing this work. I actually have 2 CD burners, one connected to my computer and the other a stand alone unit (Harmon Kardon) that I use for burning CDs from cassette and LP sources. Either unit, of course will duplicate CDs, but I like the HK for converting LPs and cassettes to CD formats. The HK unit, by the way, was around $450 and like many of these types of units has a double CD tray. It works both as a CD player and recorder.
