Hi, has anyone played David Maslanka's
"In Memorium"?
This composition is for wind ensemble and organ, and was commissioned by the students of the wind ensemble at U of Texas, Austin, in memory of the band directors wife passing away.
Anyway, all that said, the trumpet parts for this are extreme! If you have played and/or performed this, what trumpets did you use for which parts? Particuarly the sections that ascend to concert E above the staff?
