I have heard cds of things I would like to (try to) play, but can't find them via a routine search. For example, Harry James' Ciribirbin, and a rendition of Listen to the Mockingbird that I heard on a cd of historic trumpet/cornet players.

Does Trumpetherald (or its members) have sources not available to the public?

Hi:

Welcome. Certainly individual members of the Trumpet Herald have CDs and sheet music in their possession that are not readily available to the "general public." The Search function here works pretty well also. I suggest you do some searching of the forums for what you're seeking, and also post your question over in the Lounge and Literature sections for more exposure.

Cliffchar:

Try this site to find CD's of songs you like: http://www.sheetmusicplus.com/store/smp_instruments2.html?cart=334721064917152542&instrument=trumpet or just google the music with "trumpet sheet music CD" etc....

This is a great way to get enjoyable playing time just by yourself. Have fun.
