Hey Todd! Just experienced having to "update" my info for further communications. My quick and perhaps non-permissable question...Can one change the password that results as an automatic assignment? |

Pedro - absolutely, click on 'Edit Profile' at the top of any Forum page.
Once there, you'll have to enter your old, random password and then your new one twice - you'll see what I mean.

Todd,
Can you add a place where we can put an "Alternate" (free) Email address on our profile? I don't mind Trumpet Herald admins emails going to my work or other non-free email address (& I understand the need for you to do this to cover yourselves), but I would like forum users to see my Yahoo account on my profile not just on my signature file. _________________ Kevin M.

I think that it is a real bummer that I can no longer use my hotmail email address as the address listed on my profile because that is the address that I use for virtually everything. I do this mainly so that I can read my email from any location, be it work, home or even at any public library if the need arises.
Therefore, I have unchecked the "Let others view your email address" check box and put my "real" email address as part of my signature.
I guess the administrator was faced with a tough decision in trying to eliminate the bozos that post under false names, but I still think that it's a bummer. _________________ Patrick Gleason
