Cornet Mouthpieces -C or deep V cup?

I have the 9A, 10 1/2A and 11A (Cornet and Trumpet); all deep "V"-cup.

Hmmm... I have several A cups, but while deep they are still bowl and not V shapes. That matches the info from Bach, but I don't have any of the ones you mentioned so maybe they (yours) are V's. If so, I stand corrected! Thanks for the update - Don

Hi, Don.

Just went and examined the subject 'pieces, once again; ... also, compared them to my vintage "cookie-cutter" deep "V"-cup 'pieces.

The "A's" that I mentioned, actually have a modified "V"-cup; sort-of-a "cross" between a funnel-bowl and a "V". (Not sure -- this may be called a "parabolic V" ?).

Let's just say we're both correct. ... "Ain't that special!"

Sounds right -- they probably take on some of the V shape when they go so deep.
