Hello Everyone!!! I'm back with a new video. It is a new recording of the standard, "Misty". I had released a earlier video of "Misty', but, I had decided to record it over. I hope you have read my story and now, since Nov 2014, I have been getting use to the new SuperChops mouthpiece size 6 and I have been using Jerome Callet's Master Chops Technique and I am adjusting to it; however, I still call Mr. Callet for additional instruction. Well, if you want to hear how I sound, click on YouTube link below and thank you for viewing!!!

Thank you!

Andre, thanks for posting. You have a good start on what could be an excellent performance. I suggest you listen to some of the great vocal renditions of Misty by Ella Fitzgerald, Sarah Vaughn, Johnny Mathis and others and study their phrasing. Then try to use your horn to "sing" the way they do.

Thanks for sharing Andre. I'd be interested to hear you play loudly too...

Great tone!

I would agree with Jim that you are to aggressive on your attacks. Be more legato on your note separation. If you heard somebody sing it like you played it you would question it. Keep working it. You have a great sound.

Per Mr. Callet, continue emphasizing extra strong attacks until your new embouchure is extremely powerful, dead in tune, and completely secure. Only then add in more musical subtleties of attack, as others have suggested, for a more musical end result. The vibrance, focus, and richness of your current tone let you know that you are surely on the right path. Best wishes, Kyle

PS - For extra fun, on that last concert G grip the lower lip more strongly against the cutting edge of the upper teeth, push the wedge of the tongue out a wee bit more and add a pinch of extra 'hiss' in the air to jump up an octave. Very important, do this with the embouchure technique, not extra air volume and it will start happening quite soon.
