4 years ago I sent my Benge 7X to a Mr Kay at the "Musical Instrument Repair Shop" in Tenn for some major alteration and renovation$. Turned out the place was a scam and after a few years of "Your horn is almost ready", I gave up. Well, I just got my horn back and while it is undamaged it has been disassembled into 14 pieces...The letter explained that Mr Kay is incapacitated and can no longer work on instruments. So now I need to find a RELIABLE repairman that is close to CT to reassemble my horn and clean it up.. Any suggestions? Whatta ya think that would cost??

There is also a Dick Hansen from the Brimfield Brass in Brimfield, MA. You can find his number and info on Facebook.

I could most likely get it back together, but, I lack the finishing process, that Dick has nearby.

Last year Dick handled a small repair for me. It was a adventure driving the back roads trying to find his place. He's very friendly and skilled.

Uh, you do know that prodigal means "recklessly wasteful or extravagant", right?

Oh, if that horn could talk!

If you consider what I originally bought the horn for, what I paid Mr Kay for the work that was never done, which I will probably never get back and what I will pay to have it cleaned up and reassembled......
