I stumbled on this page while searching for scales for trumpet. I'm just starting to learn improv and am looking for some help. Does anyone know of a page out there like this but for trumpet? The page is really great, its just all written for sax.
Thanks alot |

If you want to have scales, the fastest way to have them is to take music sheet and a pencil think about the patern of scales and write them down! |

How about you practice your scales, while transposing them to Bb. I mean, it isn't hard since you only got to know the note that you are starting with. Anyways, just take the sax scales transpose them down an octave and up a fifth or fourth and everything will be fine. |

btw, a major C scal on saxophone will be the same note on trumpet. the difference is if you make this C scal by both it wont sound the same. A C scale is a C scale. A C concert scale is different!!! _________________ Nicolas Marcotte
