I had the pleasure of studying one summer with John Ware. Not only is he a great Trumpet player and musician, he is also a great person.

Although it wasn't mentioned...is this the same John Ware (trumpet) that ran with CHASE for a while?...it doesn't add up..I could swear John Ware was listed as one of the players on the album cover.

dat's what I meant.... I just got the two Wares mixed up (In name only)..

| John played 3rd trumpet on the definitive recording by Leroy Anderson of Bugler's Holiday. 2nd was Ray Crisara and 1st was James Burke. I had the pleasure of interviewing him for an article I wrote for the ITG. Very nice guy as was his wife. |
