I see on Marks web site that his "Maximizing Pratice" series of books is available again. Has anyone ordered the book recently and received it?
I ordered his books a long time ago but he never send them (he took the money thoug). I was wondering whether it was worth to send him another reminder...

There have been similar threads about this guy - apparently many people have ordered (and paid for) music that they never got.

Still haven't recieved my book I ordered in May of 03. Never expect to. I just wish they would shut this guy down. If you are going to sell books on line do it right. I have ordered so many other books on line from others and have gotten great service. MVC is the only person I have ordered from online that has ripped me off. STAY AWAY FROM MVC.

I too ordered back in 03. Hummmmmmmm where are those books?
I remember a very long thread back then about MVC, his books, & very few ever getting them.

They're either so popular that he just can't keep them in stock, or................

I'll bet they're not worth the wait.

Hi,

Some say Mark isn't the greatest, most efficient business person. His mail orders have been received or delayed depending upon who you talk to?

I've even heard that there are some who never ordered from him, but are claiming that they did Thus, they are seeking free merchandise that they hadn't previoudly paid for.

I know if I had paid for merchandise that was never delivered, I would not order another thing from Mark, including horns. I'd wonder who would stand behind the products? But, people buy lots of horns from other sources without worrying about "service after the sale."

Hi, Skip,

And I hear that there are several more of you with cancelled checks and no orders.

Yet Mark has time to make instruments, but not enough time to make things right with his customers who ordered books in good faith and are held dangling on a string.

I'm afraid for some, this taints the man's reputation and he should fix the older problems before moving forward. After all, it is his credibility at stake here and everywhere. But, maybe it doesn't matter to him.

If you get them, you'll find both are excellent. I practice from them all the time.
