Hi,
does anyone know much about UMKC's jazz program? I know the basics, but their website doesn't show much. I'm scoutin around for a school to transfer to. The school I was at was kinda disappointing. |

I don't know anything about UMKC, but you're looking for a school in MO, check out Webster U. in St. Louis. It has an awesome jazz program.

Dude,
If you are looking at UMKC for jazz, I'd do it. There are two sax guys there, one nameed.......Bobby Watson, and another named Hal melia who isnt far off from Watson.

72*,
Hal Melia is an old friend and one of my former students. Give him a hug for me and tell him how well you and I know each other. He's a great guy and a fantastic musician. A person like you can learn a lot from someone like Hal.
