I just got one of these messages. Just like what others have done on ebay. If you look at the address, it is to truNpetherald with an N.

These guys are definitely phishing for info. I would be real suspect about the TH Marketplace over the next month. If you gave out your info, I suggest you have the administrator cancel your account and start a fresh account. There have been several horns on the TH that look like great deals but very suspect due to lack of posts. I emailed one asking for a phone number but no reply. Now these scammers can use the user names of others. I would highly recommend talking to a seller on the phone. It amazes me that some don't. Unfortunately, this site is plagued with scammers that have succeeded and ruined the trust previously established in the TH community.

These phishing types know that many people don't use different passwords for different web sites. If they can get the one you use here, they hope to find their way into your checking account or credit card.

Only Todd can cancel your account, and he may be busy (this is not a 24/7 job for him). Instead, just go to your profile and change your password. Or, just click on the "change it here" link in the banner message above.

In my panic, I was entering the wrong password and couldn't change it. I thought the phishers had already changed it. I eventually figured out my mistake and changed the password.

The email I received seems to be the same as the email received by all of you. It directs me straight to the trumpetherald.com, not to a spoof site. Each link provided in the email takes me directly to trumpetherald.com, spelling, trumpetherald.com.
What is up..it seems thee email was generated by trumpetherald.

I can't believe these emails actually work.

If you get a message saying your account has been disabled, I would think your first reaction would be to go to the site and try to logon.
If the email is valid, your logon won't work. If it's invalid your logon still works...
