Last year I purchased the Herb Alpert CD "Definitive Hits". I also found a music book, for Bb trumpet, that has most of the same songs as the CD. But the book doesn't have "Casino Royale', which is my favorite Tijuana Brass song.

Does anyone know where I can find the sheet music for "Casino Royale"?

Thanks in advance.

Suggest you go to http://www.amcorner.com

Ask the question there, as well as search, for that is a website devoted to A&M records and artists, of which Herb Alpert and Jerry Moss were the founders. There are a variety of forums, just like this one, devoted to Herb Alpert and the Tijuana Brass, among others.
You will probably have to register in order to post - but it is no problem - just like TH.

I have a feeling that it may be difficult to find the music - I am rather surprised you found any kind of song book still in print. Casino Royale, as well as many other Tijuana Brass songs, used to be available many years ago in instrumental combo books published by Hansen Publishers and Key-Pops Publishers, but these are out of print long ago. I used to have them many years ago, but they are long gone and I don't know where they went.

You may also try to find music by Burt Bacharach(see what your search engine can find), as I believe the song was composed by him, and the trumpet part was supplied by Herb Alpert, at Bacharach's request.

I'm glad to hear of your interests, as I have loved this music since back about 1965 when I got my first Tijuana Brass record album(I have all of the albums and whatever CDs I have been able to find as they are also out of print now - except for Definitive Hits), played just about all of it in an instrumental group that was a Tijuana Brass tribute/copy group(back from about 1967 - 1972), and still listen to it all the time.

Good luck...

I will say that my wife has grown tired of hearing it long ago, but she still loves me anyway...

DaveH,

Thanks very much for the heads-up. I have been to the A&M site before, but never considered looking for the music there. I will let you know if I am successful.
