The glass trick is irrelevant to the quality of the trumpet. You could shout, sing, use most any instrument, and at the right pitch and with enough energy the right glass will shatter. No magic, just physics. Use a very cheap, thin glass and go for it. Just be sure to use a sheet around it to catch the shards (trust me on this).
Bundy, isn't the name of some character in a TV show?
