This has recently become the slowest-loading site on the net that I use, from personal computer (current Macbook Pro) to a workplace Dell and HP. Are you experiencing server problems? I have no issues with other sites. Anyone else? |

Craig,
This site is slower than other sites for sure! Something must not be working right.
Best wishes,

I'm having trouble visiting TH too:
-At times the entire site doesn't want to open.
-Although I programmed "log in automatically with each visit", I often have to log in anyway...
-...but I can't always log in at all.
-The search function works badly on occasion.
-Some threads don't open anymore (like the recent "Poll 2nd hand pro-trumpet").
-Editting your own post has turned into a real ordeal too.
Do we have a bug?

Seems more like a case of we need a new server, or an additional server to carry the load. |

The sysadmin is aware that the site is running slowly and is checking in to the situation. |

It did improve, was pretty quick for a minute there, but then gets bogged down again. |

Thank God! I thought maybe it was like Chris Dodd's and Barney Frank's self inflicted financial crisis. Next I thought TH might have to raise their subscription rates.
(I still can't believe this is free...) |

Yeah, it's back to the old dial up speed again. Still, slow or not it's a good deal for the price. |

I'm 70 years old, and I can't afford to wait soooo long for each post to open. The TrumpetMaster and the Virtual Trumpet Studio sites are looking better every day. _________________ Bill Anderson

Todd's been working like a dog and has found and fixed a few things. Seems back to normal to me today. All hail our sysadmin! There are some on-going issues going forward that will have to be dealt with, but at least the site is usable again. - Don _________________ "After silence, that which best expresses the inexpressible, is music" - Aldous Huxley |
