Very nice solo by John Marshall. Earl Gardner on lead trpt. Joe Mosello... Who's the guy on the end of the section nearest Mel? Simo?
On "Ding, Dong..." that's Dick Oatts on soprano and Jim McNeely on piano. I also see Joe Lovano, Rich Perry, and Steve Coleman in the sax section (bari?). _________________ Bach trumpet artist-clinician

The bari player is Gary Pribek. You're right with the other facts. For more information on the lineup, read the infos on top.

Yeah. Plus, he puts a shimmer on the long notes at the tops of phrases above the staff that really give him a personal sound on lead. _________________ Jeff Helgesen

This is defiantly, the pinnacle of Earl's lead playing in my opinion. His chops are set up and he is really playing. I don't know if I feel that he is now one of the top lead players around, even though I certainly respect his overall playing ability. Earl has got some serious stuff to present as a lead player during this time.
