Hi,
The real treasure of this video is Manfred Clement, the oboe player. It is hard to find any recordings of him and now I have video!! I wish Maurice Andre had accepted this job instead of giving it to Pierre Thibaud. Then we would have video of Maurice in his prime. Those are rare as well.
Thanks,

Part 2
Wow. What a treat. I had some of Thibaud's recordings on vinyl. He, Don Smithers, Andre, Schwarz, Dockschizer, and others where the guys I was listening to and made me want to play trumpet.
Now its about 30 years+ later.
Thanks for posting that clip! _________________ 1972 Selmer Radial |

After practicing out of his books for a while its nice to see him playing. Thanks.
How about his fingering technique? 1/2 of his fingers over the valves! My teacher would have slapped my hands if I did that! LOL |

Interesting to note the bits he leaves out of the tutti sections to give himself some recovery room. Also his alternative fingerings for some notes. _________________ Bb - Scherzer 8218W, Schilke S22, Bach 43, Selmer 19A Balanced
