I hope I spelled this name correctly. Can anyone tell about Ziggy Kanstul. I play a Besson International trumpet and heard that Ziggy Kanstul designed this horn. Just wondered if anyone knows some history about this horn or person? Looks a lot like the Yahama Z Horn?

I would recommend you go to:

http://www.google.com

and type in "Zig Kanstul" for the search information. There should be several pages of references for him.

Sincerely,

Lex Grantham

Or..."ASK JACK" at http://www.kanstulmusic.com/~jkmusic/

Jack Kanstul is a virtual walking Encyke' and museum about his fathers wonderful instruments and the history.

One added note....Jack and Ziggy were Students and personal friends of Claude Gordon and they have such wonderful keepsakes from those days that has to be shared with trumpet players everywhere.
