Greetings fellow Trumpet Heralders,

Anyone find/using a nice, lightweight, collapsible wheeled cart/dolly for their triple or quad cases? I like my cases, but they don’t have wheels 😁😁 I’m hoping to find something in aluminum that can be used with a Marcus Bonna Triple Trumpet Case. Thanks for your help.

Best regards,

Bob

They are not exactly elegant, but they work - a light duty hand truck. Most of the players in this area, carting horns/music/mutes/stands and whatever just use something like:

or

Many places carry them, from Lowes to Amazon. They have larger wheels than the wheeled cases so seem to roll smoother on cracked pavement.

Just buy a collapsible luggage cart. Many places carry them. I found them on amazon.

The critical factor is width. If you get a cart that’s too narrow, especially with a quad case, it’s unstable. As you walk it’ll start to wobble and eventually tip over.

I ruined the zipper on a week-old protec quad when it tipped sideways as I was walking into my lesson. The zipper dragged on the concrete and it ripped a few teeth out
