Lately I have been looking though the market place and have been seeing a lot of *UPDATE* and *SOLD* listings and a bunch of duplicates in general. I think it would be a great idea if the marketplace was monitored more often for that so that searches don't come back with bad results. One thing that has gotten me a little confused lately is people posting the same product multiple time with the same exact description and pictures trying to drum up potential customers. This doesn't seem right. You should make it so that once a hopeful poster submits their item to the marketplace, a moderator should review it and approve it granted that there are no identical posts up. _________________ Getzen 3001 Bb

As has been said many times, the moderators have no power in the marketplace, only in the Forums. Drop a PM to the sysadmin, username trumpetherald, for help. - Don _________________ "After silence, that which best expresses the inexpressible, is music" - Aldous Huxley |

Yeah I wish there was some way to remove ads after the item is sold. I keep asking for more info only to find out it's gone _________________ Doug Mac

I re-list often but ALWAYS delete the prior listing. I'm careful about deleting items once they are sold. People do this all the time on Craigslist. I have received harassing messages the last two days from anonymous emails that cannot be replied to. Someone is upset that their listings keep getting "bumped."
To the crybaby who keeps emailing me and accusing of my "spamming," take it up with Todd. If the rules change, I'll adjust accordingly. Until then, deal with it.........or you can always buy all my stuff!

As someone who regularly runs auctions and classifieds in other venues, deleting duplicate and sold listings is common courtesy. It not only annoys people, but it is really poor customer service. |

Well there is and it is easy. But the original poster has to take the time to do it. |
