There a couple of threads here recomending existing DVDs.
This one is different.
Here I'd like to see what concerts you wish were available on CD or DVD but sadly are not.
Here is a partial list from me to get things started:
- Maynards 75th Birthday Bash
- Mangione "Live at the Hollywood Bowl" DVD
- Anual releases of the major jazz festivals on DVD
Anyone have more for the wish list? |

How about:
"Live at Massey Hall" - Charlie Parker
"VSOP live in Japan" - Hubbard, Shorter. Hancock, Carter, Williams
"At the Village Vanguard" - Tom Harrell
"At the Cafe Bohemia" - Dorham with Blakey
and finally
"The Making Of Porgy & Bess" - the complete video footage from all studio sessions with Miles Davis and the Gil Evans Orchestra (6 DVD set) _________________ All the best
