There has been discussion here in the past of a device that I believe is battery powered, and supposedly helps revive / relax tired embouchures. Anyone remember what it is called, and / or anyone have positive or negative experiences with it?

Thanks!

AKA the: "don't tase me, bro" ?

Bruce Lee also used electro-stim, and he could kick Chuck Norris's high notes!

That was it. Anyone have any experience with it? (It seems just a little bit "snake-oil-y" to me). And it isn't exactly cheap, although it could be worth it if it works.

I have tried Snake Oil (from Will Spencer) and it is fantastic

However I have also tried the Vibrass and have nothing positive to say about it. It didn't do my chops any harm, but it didn't do them any good either. I didn't spend any money on it, I had one on trial when they first came into the UK - it got returned with a "why bother?" comment.
For the money it costs - take a lesson, get a new piece of music (or two), have a few beers, enjoy a night out with your significant other, sample a new curry - any of the things listed will do (in my opinion) the same for your playing as the Vibrass (and will certainly make you happier).

Sorry, but I can't get this image out of my head on that:

Loosens the lips and helps you lose unsightly lip fat at the same time!

You might need some Lubrass to go with it.

Pretty much what I thought.

Anyone else try it?

If you get an Hitachi Magic Wand with the right attachment it will cost almost half as much and have more uses.
