Up for sale is a beautiful 1957 MT Vernon Bach. Valve are original and still have some good compression. Horn is raw brass. I use Hetman #2 valve oil and this works beautifully on this horn. Horn plays great from bottom to top. Slotting is spot on and can really light up in the upper register. I recently had the horn tuned up and cleaned at J Landress Brass. There is a small patch on the third valve knuckle which I tried to show in picture 5. My main horn is a 1932 NY Bach 6 mouthpipe and 7 bell as well as a medium bore NY Bach and both of those horns have the same patch. I am guessing that Vincent Bach at some point was adding these patches or they were done shortly after being made.

This horn is a 25 Leadpipe and 43 bell which is a great combination. Horn records very well and has that typical awesome Bach sound. Great horn for classical, broadway shows, big band, or solo jazz situations.

Sale is for the horn as well as the original MT Vernon case. Horn will be bubble wrapped and shipped separately from the case so shipping for both will be $80.00 total. Horn will be insured for the full sale price.
