Selling because I used this horn in orchestra in college and haven't used it much since (I'm mainly a jazz player). I never needed to use the Bb tuning slide extension much, but in C, the horn works well and plays pretty in tune. With its compact bell flare and lightweight construction, it can get a nimble sound, but its .468 bore allows it to get a broad orchestral tone - I was principal my senior year and used this horn to lead us through some Mozart and Beethoven 3. The horn held its own. Compression is great. As I hope the photos show, the lacquer is flaking off some - probably 50%-60% is left. There are some spots of red rot starting to form on the leadpipe that I hope are clear in the last picture. It's a fun horn and a good starter C for someone on a budget. I can pack it in either a Yamaha hard case or Protec gig bag. SOLD
