This is a rare 1934 Conn 14B Harry Glantz C trumpet. The lacquer on this horn is about 90% of original. The valves have been aligned and they are very tight. Apparently this horn was very well cared for and seldom played. It has the sound of Harry's original recording of Copland's "Quiet City." Intonation is excellent. A University of Tennessee graduate student played some French works on it at her graduate recital a few years ago, but since I acquired it about 20 years ago, that's the only time it has been played. I seldom play C any more and it is time that this went to a new home, perhaps to a symphony player who appreciates it. The horn is presently at Rich Ita's Brass Instrument Workshop for sale. The link to an image at his website is here:https://www.brassinstrumentworkshop.com/product-page/conn-harry-glantz-14b-c-trumpet Either Rich or I can answer any questions you have about the horn. I will consider reasonable offers.
