| I decided to replicate the "vintage" look with this standard Scodwell USA Bb (sometimes referred as "The Las Vegas" model). The silverplating was done by Anderson and brush finished in my Las Vegas shop with a clear lacquer applied over the brush finish. Nitro cellulose lacquer was chosen so as to not affect the sound quality. Black pearl valve buttons show well with the silver finish and the trumpet plays as you would expect my trumpets to play, focused and brilliant. Valves and slides are super smooth. No case is supplied and the trumpet is available through Washington Music Center. I will have this trumpet and others at the upcoming ITG in Minneapolis.
