He proudly holds a Master of Music degree from The Juilliard School and a Bachelor of Music degree from the Oberlin Conservatory, with a primary emphasis on trumpet performance.

His impressive repertoire includes captivating performances with distinguished orchestras such as the Phoenix Symphony, Los Angeles Philharmonic, Chautauqua Symphony Orchestra, Mozaic Festival Orchestra and the LA Jewish Symphony, where he holds the position of Principal Trumpet.
In addition to his orchestral endeavors, Avi has made notable contributions to the world of soundtracks, films, television, and commercials. His talents have been featured in commercials for brands like CarMax and Buick, educational materials produced by Alfred Music Publishing, and his trumpet can be heard on various recordings, including "The Adventures of Belvis Bash," "Lil Big Ups" on Nickelodeon, and album such as "Women of Valor" and "The Music of Eric Zeisl."
Avi was honored with the prestigious Frieda and Harry Aronson Scholarship in Trumpet, which granted him a full scholarship to pursue his studies at The Juilliard School. Additionally, he received the ASCAP Foundation Leiber & Stoller Music Scholarship.
