I know Jouko Harjanne plays them. He used B&S horns for a while, but he had gone back last time I saw him.
He sounds fantastic, but then again, I'm pretty sure it's mostly him.
I know Spada used to do conversions of Bach horns - like Malone and the others, but they have their own line, now. They're not cheap, either. They're based in Switzerland, but since you found the website, you probably knew that already.
They definitely fly under the radar over here in North America. That's all I know about them. I wouldn't be surprised if some European based TH people know quite a bit more. _________________ LA Benge 3X Bb Trumpet

I played one for a few minutes a couple months ago. Not much of a test, but I wasn't impressed. _________________ "Brass bands are all very well in their place - outdoors and several miles away ." - Sir Thomas Beecham |

Try a search over on TM. I am pretty sure you will find some old threads dealing with Bachs that have been hot rodded by Spada. I seem to recall them getting very favorable reviews. |

I played a Spada/Bach C for 2 seasons in the Rotterdam Philharmonic and foolishly sold it. When Balasz Nemes (solo trumpet, Frankfurt Radio) abandoned piston trumpets for rotaries I bought his Spada/Bach/Blackburn. It's currently gathering dust in my basement but is an absolutely fabulous horn.

Collecting dust, ever consider selling it? Just Kidding, maybe! HA
My HS band director was a trumpet player and he had a C tpt and loved it. I played it a few times and I can compare it to the Malone conversion on Bach's and Yamaha's but played quite well. |
