Hey friends
I was just curious, do you have any favorite Bb solos that work well on other horns as well?
I always thought the Hindemith Sonata always sat really well and sounded great on C trumpet.
Something about the striking sound of a C trumpet mixed with the different timbre of the valve combinations adding body to the sound really sounds great compared to a Bb horn in my opinion. _________________ Don Miles Cinci

I did the Brellochs version of "Quiet City" on B-flat, but my professor and I both felt it would sit well on C and E-flat. I plan to play it again on E-flat sometime. I can't speak to the more common arrangement with English horn. |
