I heard the Philadelphia Orchestra when they were on a tour in the late ‘80s. After the performance I went around back to see if players were coming out and got to talk with Frank for a few minutes. He was very cordial and encouraging (to this young guy he had never met) and I left knowing he was far more than a great player. So glad he lived a good long life and had a great career with many fine recordings. RIP, sir. _________________ Matt Dalton |

I never met Mr. Kaderabek, but we have an interesting connection. We're both of Czech origin and I own one of his orchestral C trumpets. _________________ Please join me as well at:
