Hi all,
I am looking for a "gig bag" for 2 or 3 trumpets. Mutes, music and stand should fit in there too.
Does anyone know, where I can get such a thing, which brands and models are good and what it costs?
It shouldn't be like a trumpet case, but rather a bag.

I posted a similar question recently and went for the Altieri Triple. It's a great bag. I can fit my trumpet, my flugel and 4 mutes in it. There is a front pouch that can hold your stand, music, just about anything. It comes with handles, a shoulder strap and backpack straps. Comfortable and great looking.
Maybe not a protective as hard case but it gets the job done for me. You just have to be careful and keep an eye on it (as you should do any way).
If you're interested email me and I can send you pictures of mine. My biggest problem was finding pictures of it to help make my descision.
Website address is http://www.altieribags.com/ |

Hi! I have used a Reunion Blues triple bag for my trumpet/flugel/mutes combination and it has been wonderful. I came out of a gig one cold winter night a number of years ago, slipped on a patch of ice, and fell ON THE CASE!!!! Nothing inside was damaged. 'Nuf said.

I have a kanstul chicago bag that's huge but you can only fit 2 horns with the standard pouch if you use a different pad you can fit two Bb's and a pic or a flugel. _________________ Andrew Fowler
