Two one-liners (Dave Bacon should like these ) from the article by Hagstrom:
Healthy failure leads to change.
Unhealthy failure leads to fear.
I challenge y'all to read the article (below) and respond in kind to these two statements. This is, I think, a topic of close and dear interest to many of us. - Don

I dunno' Phil -- it worked OK for me using IE. Try again and see if the server was just overloaded. You could also try going in from the top (http://www.midwestclinic.com) and see if you can work your way down, or email the webmaster. I'm an analog guy, so much of this Internet stuff is still mysterious to me.

Hi Dave, glad you liked 'em!
Hey Phil, don't know why I didn't note this before, but the link is to a PDF (portable document format) file, which requires Adobe Acrobat or Acrobat Reader. The latter is a free (though it's gotten quite large) download from the Adobe site. If you don't have it installed and hooked up with your email client, you won't see the article.
Onwards (one can only hope!) - Don _________________ Don Herman/Monument, CO

wow!
I definitely have way too many unhealthy failures. I have often been fearful of the exact things he talks about as fears related to unhealthy failure. I will need to work on this some more.... I also noticed I need to practice focusing more. I have a link to some exercises on concentrating around here somewhere.... http://www.petrouska.com/eastman.htm
If you go to the section on concentration exercises, you can print out some winners in there. Good stuff if your mind wanders like mine will.
