For sale is an early Elkhart large bore 229 C. Has a corporation 229 bell, SN~38,849 in raw brass with clear lacquer finish. Compression is great and the horn has a very sweet sound. There doesn’t seem to be any red rot.
Includes the original case and a Bach 239 corporation bell in raw brass. Better-quality pictures can be found on this eBay listing.
